Mixologist / Bartender
Lotus Management Group, an owner/operator of this beautiful hospitality location, is currently looking to complete our staff. A professional to join the team at this Historic Hotel property; The Historic ARTISAN Downtown Hotel.
The ARTISAN is a featured hotel on the main street of downtown DeLand main street, the epicenter for all things DeLand. We are booking entertainment on weekends, have a great retail and dining district in the DeLand area, and are looking to showcase professional bartending talent.
The Bartender/server serves beer, wine, craft martinis, and mixed drinks to our guests, visitors, and restaurant servers. (S)he ensures that all the guests are satisfied with their drinks and have a pleasant experience. Alcohol Awareness Certification and prior bartending/serving experience preferred. Willing and able to work flexible shifts that vary from 10am-11pm every day of the year, including holidays when needed. Scheduling is flexible to help retain the best of the best.
Your commitment to us:
- Deliver genuine hospitality while you efficiently craft every drink to perfection and serve our guests responsibly.
- Be fanatical in mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests at our bar and provide drinks and service to the servers following standard recipes and procedures.
- Guide our guests through our food and beverage menus while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of all our food and beverage offerings
- Provide timely, attentive, fun, and friendly service to guests and servers to ensure our guests feel valued and well cared for during their visit.
- Take pride in keeping the bar area clean, sanitized, and stocked.
- Create positive first impressions that build loyalty in return to guests.
- Make our guests feel welcome by engaging with them and creating a lively and fun atmosphere!
Experience: bartending 2 years (Preferred)
Education: Bartending School (Preferred) High school or equivalent (Preferred)
SERVSAFE Certification is preferred but not required.
Front Desk / Concierge

We are booking entertainment on weekends, have a great retail and dining district in the DeLand area, and are looking to add another professional, talented team member.
A Front Desk Concierge/Representative is the face of the company and ensures they make a good first impression on any visitors. They ensure the front desk is kept in order, manage, and filter all communication from outside vendors and customers to internal employees either by phone, email, or verbally.
Your commitment to us and responsibilities:
Welcome guests, check them in, distribute room keys and explain the hotel’s amenities Manage online, phone, and in-person room reservations.
Greet and welcome guests as they come and go.
Take payment from guests.
Respond to guests’ issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner.
Explain local amenities and attractions to guests.
Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special client needs.
Assist guests with the planning of special events such as weddings and business conferences.
Attend phone calls and redirect them to the appropriate line.
Take messages and pass them on to the receiver.
Be professional and pleasant while interacting with guests.
Receive packages, deliveries, and letters.
Regularly check and sort emails.
Keep an inventory of office supplies and ensure it is always stocked.
Maintain a filing system of all required documents.
Help make travel arrangements or any other administrative help.
Requirements Prior experience in the hospitality industry as a receptionist, front desk representative, or relevant position:
Must know how to use office machinery like a printer, faxing machine, etc.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
Excellent communication, written, and people skills.
Good multi-tasking, time management, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills.
Customer-oriented and professional attitude.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
